Yes, you might have an old, shitty computer with a low-end graphics processor. Maybe your video card is so old, there aren’t even updated drivers for it. And maybe, Adobe programs eat up your memory and destroy computer performance on older machines. And yeah, if your screen detaches, your dog may have stepped on the detach button at some point and it didn’t click back in quite all the way and your laptop is now running all the things on the tablet graphic processor and not your high end video card you paid all the money for. Who knows what’s going on personally, but hey, just restart your freaking computer before you panic. And no, restarting Photoshop won’t usually fix it, unlike the “can’t update smart object” because your memory is full error.
